Maharashtra (Great country) is one of the largest and major states of India. Then Sak, Huni and Arias joined in with these tribes, comings from the north, and also foreigners, swimming up on the sea. Dravids from the south colonized the territory, joining in with the inhabited group, which was known under the common name “marathi”.
