Sikkim Holidays India

Sikkim, in the past the Himalayan Kingdom, now is one of the smallest Indian states since the time of its connection to India in 1975.

The ancient Rumtek monastery, constructed in 1740, is in 24 km from Gangtok, surrounded by the extraordinary beautiful nature. Lama Karmapa lives here; leading the Kagyupa Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. There is also a school here, which teach the doctrine of the Buddha and the Tibetan philosophy.
