The district of Waltair with its spacious planted around trees by streets and seashore is a pleasant place for walks.
If you chose this way, you can visit modest collection of art and sculpture in Vishakha Muzeum next to the Hotel Park. A local beach is located sufficiently far from the port, and sea therefore is pretty clean, but the best beach for bathing – is farther to the north, where regularly busses arrived from the RTC complex.
Various tracks of ancient civilizations are disposed in a neighbourhood of the ity. In a 30 km to the north, near Bheemunipatnam, there are relics of Dutch fort and interesting cemetery with the neglected pyramidal tombs from grey stones. |
